instant karma

last night my bike was stolen while i was working in the elephant room during happy hour. within an hour i had it back and the douche bag that stole is was arrested. this is truly incredible.

this morning on my way to work i had a song stuck in my head. it made me think of thanksgiving in 1999 when stevie and i were on our way to eureka springs. i had my heart set on hearing the song 'different drum' by linda ronstadt and the stone ponies. for most of the 12 hour drive i insisted that we listen to any station that might possibly play it. unfortunately these stations were also the stations that would be most likely to play a christmas song every three songs. now that several years have passed i feel really bad about this.
i'm suprised stevie didn't dump me on the side of the road and make me walk to arkansas. i never heard the song.
